Welcome to My Riding Coach. By accessing or using our application at myridingcoach.com (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

My Riding Coach is an AI-powered equestrian journaling and coaching application that allows users to log ride journal entries, receive AI-generated coaching feedback, track progress over time, and plan upcoming rides. The App is intended as an educational and journaling tool to support riders in their personal development.

THE APP IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL RIDING INSTRUCTION. Always consult a qualified, in-person riding instructor for hands-on guidance. See our Safety Disclaimer for important information about the risks of horseback riding.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and subscribe. Riders under 18 may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on their behalf.

3. Account Registration

To use My Riding Coach, you must create an account using a valid email address and password, or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription, Billing, and Free Trial

a) Free Trial

New users receive a 10-day free trial. No payment is required to start your trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial period without being charged.

b) Subscription

After your free trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew at $120.00 USD per year, charged to the payment method you provided. By starting a trial, you authorize us to charge your payment method upon trial expiration unless you cancel before the trial period ends.

c) Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the App through the end of your paid period.

d) Refunds

We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first paid charge if you are not satisfied. After 7 days, subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. To request a refund, contact us at hello@myridingcoach.com.

e) Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of any price change via email.

5. Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or its systems
• Reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works based on the App
• Use the App to transmit harmful, abusive, or objectionable content
• Share your account credentials with others

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you enter into the App, including ride journal entries and profile information ("User Content"). By entering content into the App, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process that content solely to provide and improve the App's services to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. We do not verify or validate ride entries, profile information, or any other content you submit.

7. AI Coaching — Limitations and Disclaimer

The AI coaching responses generated by My Riding Coach are based on the information you provide and are intended for general educational and informational purposes only. They are not professional riding instruction.

AI responses may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation. Always use good judgment and consult a qualified riding instructor before attempting new exercises or techniques, particularly those involving risk.

We make no warranty that AI coaching responses will be error-free, uninterrupted, or tailored to your exact circumstances.

8. Safety Disclaimer

HORSEBACK RIDING IS AN INHERENTLY DANGEROUS ACTIVITY THAT CARRIES A RISK OF SERIOUS BODILY INJURY OR DEATH. My Riding Coach strongly recommends:

• Always wearing a properly fitted, certified riding helmet
• Wearing a protective safety vest when appropriate
• Working with a qualified, in-person riding instructor
• Never attempting exercises or maneuvers beyond your current skill level
• Prioritizing the safety and well-being of both you and your horse at all times

By using the App, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with equestrian activities. My Riding Coach is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from your equestrian activities, whether or not you used the App's coaching features.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, text, graphics, and other materials comprising the App (excluding User Content) are the property of My Riding Coach and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MY RIDING COACH AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless My Riding Coach and its owners from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to other users or to the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Your State], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of [Your State/County].

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the App. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
